We may not have goats here on the Privé Estate, but look who arrived this afternoon over at our sister vineyard, West Wind on Ribbon Ridge! These cute and productive little guys will be hard at work this week getting the vineyard cleaned up and prepared for our big Airstream concert event this Saturday, August 22nd. Not only are they adorable, but they are extremely efficient at eating everything in sight - including weeds and blackberries that are difficult for us to manage on our own. A big thank you to centuryvineyards for helping get our little helpers situated!

There’s something about late August evenings that feels almost heavy with nostalgia for a summer that hasn’t even fully left us yet. Golden hour on the estate has been spectacular as of late, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Saturday evening, Ships to Roam takes the Privé patio for an intimate evening of wine and music, mixing heartfelt Folk and Americana under an open sky. The vines are heavy with what the season has been slowly building toward, and the forecast is warm and clear. It will be the kind of night that asks you to put the phone down and just be present, wine in-hand, as you are enveloped by the warmth of the end-of-summer glow.

Wine will be available by the glass and bottle, and outside food is welcome. Bring dinner, find a seat, and make some memories that will carry you well into the Fall.

On June 13th, we welcomed over 40 guests to the Privé patio for Pilates in the Vineyard with the incredibly talented Elizabeth Sylvain from Roll Ups pilates. They moved, they stretched, and they truly earned the wine that followed.

There is something about gathering friends, both old and new, at the estate and giving them a reason to slow down, breathe, and be present that reminds us of the feeling we had when we first visited. Wines were poured, lavender was in bloom, and conversations lasted far longer than anyone planned, giving old friends the chance to reconnect and building new friendships over a crisp glass of sparkling wine.

We can’t wait to do this with our friends at Roll Ups again soon!

As wildfire smoke continues to roll in and settle across the valley, it reminds us how fortunate we have been to build a life in this beautiful, yet fragile place. Mother Nature gives us a gentle nudge every year around this time to let us know who is in charge, and it is a humbling and awe-inspiring experience every time. Our hearts go out to those who have lost their homes, their crops, and their wildlife, leaving only memories of the places they once called home.

Last month, we enjoyed the sweet harmonies of The Parnells on the patio, along with a full house of music and wine lovers. This month, on August 15th, we welcome Ships to Roam (Ships to Roam) for another evening of music on our beautiful Privé patio, and we hope you will join us as we make more memories to fondly look back on with our extended Privé friends and family.
