July 4th is an opportunity to commemorate our freedom, which was hard to get, but we are blessed to have it. While amid all the barbeques, fireworks, rodeos, and more, let's take a moment to honor our soldiers and freedom fighters who fought and continue fighting for the freedom we are celebrating. Let's appreciate everything we have and remember that it represents everything you constructively contribute to our company, the industry, and, ultimately, the country. PPM wishes you and your loved ones a Happy Fourth of July.

This year at SNAXPO 2023, PPM's Director of Thermal Processing, Daniel Luna gave a presentation on Heating Methods for Fryers.
Mr. Luna is an expert in thermal processing with over 45 years of experience as a mechanical engineer and software designer developing new and innovative systems for fryer manufacturers within the food industry. His presentation introduced the various heating methods commonly used on snack fryers in North America, Latin America, and other global regions. Furthermore, he reviewed how different heating systems affect capital investment, fuel efficiency, operating costs, and fryer functionality.
