I have this client - and I cook for her family...2x a week. She has come up with the most insane recipes for me to re-create for them- I’m excited to expand my own family’s variety...with her inspiration. Skillet Mediterranean Chicken. Yum!

How to maintain sanity during snowstorms. (This was yesterday’s activity- today was sledding fun!)
1) In preparation for power loss- cook up a couple cozy meals that can easily reheat- stovetop/ Wood stove 🔥. Chile and pressure cooker Mac and cheese over here! 😁If power doesn’t go out, BINGO...you’re in luck and quite relaxed at dinner time.
2) Stuck indoors with multiple children actually self entertaining 😁😁- purge a closet, prepare to transition for spring/ summer - Just the touch of eyelets and cute cotton sundresses is enough to make anyone smile ☀️
And there is NOTHING more satisfying than the feeling of productively passing time when stuck indoors - AND the satisfaction of moving out the excess! 👍👍 AND the reward of wine time at the end of it all will feel extra sweet! 🍷

A couple of projects I’ve tackled that make me happy, peaceful and proud! Designed and built my own kitchen island, grew us this front lawn from seed and tlc and created my little backyard oasis❤️ Where there’s a will there’s a way. What makes your heart happy? When there is a happy heart, there is peace. ❤️

❤️ January - Such a special month. A month to regroup and recharge and enjoy the very basic joys in your life without all of the added chaos of the holidays. Also a great time to revisit some overdue to- do list items or tackle a brand new project. I’m inspired by the extra hours I feel like I have in the days now that the holidays are behind us. More healthy meals, more exercise, some minimization and purging and some painting as well. Let me know if I can help you!
