So you decide to start that business Great, now what is your Plan? You've got to have a plan of action before you just jump out there.
Creating a business plan helps you to know where you are going, and how to get there. It doesn't have to be overwhelming start with just a page or two.
Here is what your business plan should have:
Executive Summary- is a summary of what your business is as a whole.
Markert Analysis- This is your market research if there is any competition in your industry and allows you to become familiar with your industry.
Company Description- an overview of why your company will be successful, mission statement, vision statement location, organizational structure, management team, and legal structure.
Marketing and Sales Strategies- Know who your customers are and where they hang out, how you are going to get them to notice you, how you are going to interact with them, and how you are going to get your product/service to them.
Service and Product line- what exactly is the product or service that you are offering/selling? how are you different from your competition and tell what the benefits are of using your product or service. How does your product or service cost?
Funding requirements- how much funding do you need to get started and continue to run your business. Be honest with yourself here
Financials- your expenses and revenue are forecasted based on the historical data if you have it. What your business is, how you serve your clients, are you offering a product or service, what are your goals, mission, and vision statements, market research, how do you plan to make money, how will you use that money to help you grow.
Answer the simple questions and give as much detail as possible.
