Exactly a week ago, all of our merchant applications were approved and the website was finally able to accept transactions for the first time after months of covid delay. Here’s a photo of our CEO, shipping our first tinctures. We were live!
“I was excited! I really was. But while this should have been the happiest day of my life.. As a young, black entrepreneur here in the US launching his first business.. for reasons you can imagine, despite the smile under that face mask, my heart was heavy and my mind was stressed.
After tireless years of peaceful protest, it seems the voices of the black community and are finally being heard.
There are clear, systemic issues built into our country that need to be dismantled and rebuilt to be more equitable for the black community and everyone else who is effected by this deeply woven, often invisible system. The voices are loud and the message is clear. It’s time for action and it’s time for change.” - CEO Anthony Carideo ( )
From now until the end of Juneteenth weekend, if you use the code “Black Lives Matter” we will donate 30% of the sale to - a non-profit dedicated to educating the youth of today on racial literacy through an intersectional lens.
If you’d still like to support but are a bit tight on funds, the code “BLM Manchester” offers a 30% discount until the end of Juneteenth weekend as well.
After Juneteenth weekend, we will continue to advocate for marginalized groups of society and donate a portion of our profits to organizations that continue to make an impact.
