Newport Beach Vineyards and Winery

The vineyard was the first to be licensed in Orange County in over 100 years, and as of 2010, the Vineyard is the first-ever Estate producing vineyard in Orange County. Bottling one Bordeaux style red wine annually, the vineyard has produced a wide array of sensational wines that are unfiltered and intended to be enjoyed either immediately after purchase, or kept in the wine cellar for a couple of

years. Before bottling, the wine is aged in French oak for two years. Each vintage has distinct characteristics that range from dark bold cacao notes with a velvety finish, to brighter blends with hints of cherry, citrus, and floral notes. The property contains a 1,000 square foot wine cave, where private tour and tastings can be booked for groups of 8 to 30 people, and formal sit-downs for up to 75 people can be booked. The grounds of the vineyard are almost as astonishing as the wines themselves. A visit to the vineyard will show you creativity in DIY recycling: wooden pallets, steel posts, concrete, boulders, corks, and barrels are reworked to provide a beautiful and sustainable environment for functions and events. Nature lovers will see a tropical paradise of rare palm trees, bananas, cycads, orchids, finches, cockatiels, turtles, Koi, catfish, bluegill, perch, and much more. The grounds also have a chicken coop where the Goldenrod Six have come to find a home.
