Sheri Culver's talents and creations as an Interior Designer are in demand and on display all along the eastern seaboard. Projects include fabulous ocean front estates in Miami, beautiful brownstones in Boston, historic and seaside homes in Providence and Newport, country estates in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey and sleek and elegant penthouses in New York City. Throughout her 19 year career, Sheri has worked for world renowned Interior Designers, Penny Drue Baird (named Architectural Digest's Top 100 Interior Designer's) in NYC, Cindy Rinfret in Greenwich, CT. & served as Senior Interior Designer at Leonards New England where she gained extensive knowledge of Fine Antiques and construction of furniture. Educated and trained at La Sorbonne (Paris), The Rhode Island School of Design and The University of Rhode Island, Sheri approaches each project with a fresh eye and creative vision. Her passion for design is evident in each project she takes on, selecting appropriate pieces and unique treasures, implementing her vision down to the smallest detail according to the client’s needs and lifestyle. Here resources are vast as they are special, whether she finds them near or from a far. Sheri strives to create classic interiors that are understated, yet elegant – sophisticated, but always comfortable. Her signature style is glamorous and chic with hints of metallic sheen, sumptuous fabrics, rich colors and touches of animal print. Sheri is known for pairing unique pieces in an unexpected way, finishing each room to tell a story.

Take a walk on the wild side...

Often times people think painting a room a dark color will make it feel dark or small. Here is a perfect example of that not being true: everything--the bookcase, walls, door and casing--is painted black and the walls seem to recede not encroach. Bursts of bright accessories brighten the space while a gallery wall adds interest and depth (love that the tv blends in with the artwork).

This photo inspires me and makes me happy: the juxtaposition and irony of the fox & the hare laying contently together, surrounded by a beautiful bed of greens and berries. This Easter, make an effort to make amends--life is short and the quality of it is determined by our decisions. Phenomenal photo: vivid colors, lush textures, great message.
