This week at Aquidneck Business Connections, we’re excited to welcome Ted Emerson, VP of Sales and Marketing at Swipe for a Cause!

Ted works with businesses throughout Rhode Island to provide local service and competitive rates for credit card processing. Giving back is also at the heart of Swipe for a Cause’s mission, with a portion of the company’s profits donated to Hope Hospice in Providence.

We’re looking forward to hearing more from Ted about his work and the impact Swipe for a Cause is making in our community.

Join us this Wednesday, September 23rd at 7:30 AM at Newport Pickleball Club as we hear from Dr. Patrick Cullen, founder of Range.

Patrick’s background spans military service, strength and rehab training, massage therapy, and chiropractic care. Through those experiences, he saw how often trainers, therapists, and doctors were working toward the same goal without actually working together.

He created Range to change that by bringing practitioners together to communicate, collaborate, and provide a more connected approach to whole-body wellness.

Patrick will share more about his journey, the idea behind Range, and how a collaborative approach can create better outcomes for patients.

September 27th, Aquidneck Business Connections is participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Fort Adams in Newport, raising funds to help advance Alzheimer’s care, research, and support for those impacted by the disease.

More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, with millions more family members and friends providing care. Every person who walks, donates, or helps spread the word brings us one step closer to a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Paint It Purple event at Newport Pickleball Club! 💜🎨

Becky Violette from Mermaid Masterpieces led us through a fun evening of painting, with all proceeds benefiting our fundraising efforts for the upcoming Newport Walk to End Alzheimer’s. We also had some great raffle items generously donated by members of ABC.
