Rest in peace, Ronnie Bowman.

You may not have known him, but you knew him through writing songs like “It’s Getting Better All the Time” by Brooks and Dunn and a ton of others by the best in the business. But he was known as family and a friend to anyone who knew him.

I’ll never forget when I was running sound and he decided to debut the above song almost 20 years ago with just his voice and a guitar. It was a moment in time where one viscerally experieces a true gift from God on someone’s life. Ronnie was a 3 time IBMA male vocalist and won several songs and albums of the year.

This song he sang often, and is my favorite of his.

Please pray for his wife, Garnet, his family and our Bluegrass and Country musc family world wide. 💔
