Wildfires don’t stop at county lines, and neither does our concern for the businesses affected by them.

While our county is not currently within the designated disaster zone, the Port recognizes the impact these wildfires are having on communities and businesses across Washington State. We want to make sure local business owners, and anyone in our network who may know an affected business, are aware of an important resource.

This session will cover SBA disaster loan programs, eligibility requirements, and the application process for business owners dealing with fire related losses.

We're so excited to have Lisa join us as we prepare for an exciting new chapter. We're so excited to announce that we're preparing for interviews for our virtual assistant position. We're halfway to meeting our new team member. While the finer details are being finalized, we are pleased to share this progress with you and provide a small preview of what's to come. Last Call 💥

We’re excited to officially kick off our new Folder Program, and the momentum is already building! Last week’s meeting was a huge success, giving Chamber members the opportunity to vote on the top three priorities they want the board to focus on moving forward. Your voices are helping guide what comes next—and we love that engagement.

We were also thrilled to see members bring their business information and promotional materials to be included in the new folders. This program is all about highlighting our local businesses and organizations, and we can’t wait to get these folders distributed at key locations throughout the county.

Missed the meeting but still want to participate?
No problem! If you’re a Chamber member and would like your materials included, drop a comment below and we’ll reach out to coordinate pickup. Reminder, 50 copies for one of the folders or 100 to be included in both. The deadline is 5/29 to be included.

Just wrapped up an amazing day visiting some of our incredible members around Newport! It was a pleasure to check in with business owners and employees at some of our fantastic local small businesses. Your dedication and passion truly make our community shine!
