All systems go on the refit of Samadhi, the classic 60m Feadship, now underway at (Royal van Lent) in Amsterdam.

Meet Samantha Driggers.

Born in Florida and raised in Tennessee, Samantha always knew she’d find her way back to the ocean, a place where she’s felt most at home. Before settling into coastal life, she spent a few years in Nashville bartending downtown while completing her Bachelor of Science degree.

Now living on Aquidneck Island, Samantha joined the MCM team as Crew Manager. She brings a well-rounded background in psychological research and business, along with hands-on experience in administration, human resources, and hospitality.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find Samantha with a book in hand, planning her next trip, or spending time at the beach with her dog, Plato.

Watching Ouzel cut through the waves, it is easy to get lost in the moment — and you should. There is real grace in her form. Though she is a substantial yacht, a rising breeze lifts her and carries her along with ease. She feels eager to travel, and ready to be a faithful companion wherever her owners choose to take her.

She was built in Rockport, Maine, and a family grew around her.

Ouzel is the sum of a thousand decisions, but she is also something larger: the result of what good people can make when they trust each other, challenge each other, and work toward the same point on the horizon.

While years of experience allow us to recommend trusted suppliers and manufacturers, the final selection remains with the shipyard, which is responsible for construction and warranty. Our role is to provide informed guidance, practical insight, and support throughout the process.
