A Message from your now Chair of the Board:

THANK YOU for voting in the recent election. Your new board members are Michael Walsh (Vice Chair) and Marilyn Galiano (Treasurer). Your new board is reviewing current and future projects and the operations of our club. We wish to thank Kevin Foley and Rene David Levy Maduro for their 10 years of service to ABC.

I have been serving as your Vice-Chair since my election to the ABC Board in 2014. My experience as a Board member at an 84 unit three-building condo complex consisting of commercial and residential condos, has enabled me to understand the needs and concerns of ABC and its owners. I have owned at ABC and CDM for over 30 years. Among the many duties I have fulfilled as part of that office are stepping in on a moment’s notice to assume leadership duties for fellow board members when necessary, interviewed management companies being considered to run our club and the upcoming renovations, and during the October storm emergency met with the engineer and contractor, government, and insurance in order to secure the beach restoration and reopen the units that were closed, and thanking the managers of the other resorts who also assisted. Thank you for the privilege to serve.

Returning home

Good Afternoon,

I will be leaving on Thursday to return home. At this time, I want to thank everyone for all your support. To our staff - I am so proud to be an owner here and also a part of your team. I am so happy that I have been a board member as it has given me the opportunity to get to know you and work side by side for the benefit of ABC.

Farida, thank you for 31 years of dedicated service. I will be thinking of you as you close the chapter on your career here at ABC. Best wishes on your retirement and future endeavors.

Dear owners, It is a true honor to inform you that, after much work and perseverance, the work on the foundation at the East-wing ocean front units has been completed and in record time. The Government Department of Building & Infrastructure officials came by to inspect the work this afternoon where they gave us the green light so we are happy to announce that our East-wing ocean front units are back in service as of this weekend. I have been coming to Aruba for 29 years and have seen the resort and the island grow and change in that time. ABC holds a very special place in my heart. I currently serve as Board Treasurer at Brick Market Place, an 84 unit commercial-residential condominium complex in Newport, Rhode Island, where I also own a business, Del Sol. I have been involved in a $ 4million renovation project, fire alarm project and helped turn the bank and replacement reserve accounts from negative to positive. I hold a B.S. from Bryant University. My past business experience includes owning a franchise, Chamber of Commerce Director, and Regional Director of Operations for a franchise. I currently serve on the Nominating and By-Laws committees for Casa del Mar.
