We’re excited to celebrate Chris Roehl as our September GBS Employee Spotlight! 🎉

As an integration estimator, Chris works with our sales team to engineer pre-sales technology solutions, establish pricing and craft project proposals. His background in architectural design combined with over a decade of experience across IT, AV and tech design provide our team with a unique perspective that makes him invaluable in navigating complex construction projects.

Over his 16 years at GBS, Chris expanded his tech expertise from Macintosh support to network engineering, AV engineering and design. His willingness to take on new challenges has made him integral to projects like the design and installation of technology for the recently completed Children’s Theater of Cincinnati at the renovated Emery Theater.

Chris enjoys a broad range of interests outside of work as well. He enjoys camping, traveling and has gotten involved with the local craft brewing community. He’s a musician who plays most brass instruments, plays percussion and sings. He’s also a longtime Star Trek collector and Superman fan. His love of art and architecture follow him wherever he goes and he can often be caught gazing up to admire the details of nearby buildings.

We’re grateful for Chris’s dedication to continuous learning, adaptability, creative perspective and the depth of experience he brings to GBS.

As staff accountant, Kim is essential to maintaining the financial backbone of GBS. Her strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all of her colleagues make Kim an invaluable member of our team.

Kim prioritizes building strong relationships that make GBS feel like a true family. She cares deeply about the people she works with, holding the belief that family at work is just as important as family at home. We couldn’t agree more.

As a solo mom of three with her youngest nearing 18, Kim is stepping into an exciting new season grounded in strength, confidence and self discovery. Outside of work, she enjoys attending concerts, exploring the outdoors, getting lost in nature and going barefoot whenever possible.
