For months, I could not pay myself a dime.

Some months I scraped together $8,000. Other months it was zero. I was working evenings, working Saturdays, chasing every insurance plan and every patient walking through the door. My team was exhausted. My patients could feel the desperation.

Then in 2019 and 2020 I lost three people who meant the world to me. My dad. My brother. My senior partner Jeff Foster.
