Country Portico Enhancement

We had the chance to work with the new owners of this beautiful 32-acre country estate in Clinton Corners, NY. The property boasts multiple amenities and outbuildings, but the existing Front Portico was a product of builder grade 1990’s. Our objective was to enhance the proportions and aesthetic of the entrance. To achieve this, we applied Doric proportions to the portico, incorporating 20” bottom diameter columns and an appropriate entablature height. For budget purposes, we maintained the existing gable volume while elevating it with new horizontal shiplap and a decorative arched window, with full-length stone steps at the base. Detailed drawings brought it to life. The clients were thrilled with the final result.

Had a great experience providing interior details and finish selections for this new pool house, set on a beautiful historic estate in Verbank, NY. It was a true pleasure collaborating with a client who shares a deep passion for architectural history.
