Still reminiscing about this one. 🍷🍇
Our first Estate Supper al Tramonto with Field & Fire Table was one of those nights you wish you could bottle up.
All week we were anxiously checking the weather because, of course, it was calling for rain. And rain it did...right in the middle of setup 😂 But somehow it all worked out. The rain stopped just before everyone arrived, the sun came out, and it was even a little breezy (a very welcome relief after the heat we’d had all week).
Watching VJ and her team bring this dinner together was nothing short of magical. The food was unreal and there’s something pretty special about sitting down to a meal like that outside, surrounded by the vines. Such a unique experience from start to finish.
Add in w**e, walks through the vineyard, lots of laughs, new faces, old friends, and a gorgeous summer sunset. Al tramonto means “at sunset,” after all. It was one of those nights we’ll be talking about for a while.
And as the sun went down we projected C’era una Volta onto the barn…because what better way to end the night than with Sophia Loren?
It was especially fun for our family to welcome everyone to the vineyard and for Joseph to share the estate w**es he’s been working so hard on. This whole experience was a bit new for us, and seeing so many people enjoying this place we love was really special.
Thank you to everyone who came out and to Chef VJ and the entire Field & Fire Table team for bringing your magic to Rienzi. We already can’t wait to do it again.
