After 8 YEARS of applying, I can finally say… I’M IN! 🥹🤎🩺✨
I’m so thankful to officially embrace my new role part-time at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center!
Earlier this year, I made the decision to let my remote nursing position go. Although working remotely had its perks, it was taking entirely too much time away from building and growing my business. I knew I needed a nursing position that would allow me to continue doing what I worked so hard to become—a nurse—without sacrificing what I’m building as an entrepreneur.
And when I tell y’all… JEHOVAH worked this one OUT. 🙌🏽
I prayed for the RIGHT position, not just another position, and I truly believe I found it.
✨ Part-time midnights
✨ Two 10-hour shifts per week
✨ Working on the leukemia floor
✨ Flexibility with my schedule
✨ A state position WITH a pension
✨ And I’m the only LPN currently hired on my floor! So I’m already considered a SENIOR nurse
I spent 8 years trying to get into Roswell, and now I understand that sometimes a delay really is preparation. The opportunity came when it could finally fit the life I’ve built.
I worked too hard for my nursing career to ever completely walk away from it. And until that million-dollar check arrives—because baby, IT’S COMING 😂🥰— I’m going to keep making it do what it do! 💯
The best part? This position doesn’t interfere with my business AT ALL. I can continue serving my customers, growing my company, supplying my retail and healthcare partners—and still do something else I genuinely love: caring for people.
I’m also extremely thankful for the close friends who sent referrals and advocated for me along the way. 🤎
I almost kept this chapter to myself, but this is something I’m genuinely proud and thankful for.
So… hello! 👋🏽
I’m Jill, your nurse on the leukemia floor, and I’m going to give you the best care I possibly can. 🤎🩺
God is GOOD! 🙌🏽✨Thank you Jehovah for ALWAYS giving me the best gifts ….even if it’s just for a season 🥰🤎
