Did you know? š¤ In addition to guest speaking in public high school business classes, I also have taught a homeschool āIntro to Businessā class. Iām heading into another semester, and putting final touches on the syllabus; my cat, āPatrickā, however, feels I should be attending to his needs instead right now. š I enjoy teaching the teens in order to boost their knowledge ahead of when theyāll need the info on everything from creating a rĆ©sumĆ©, job searching and navigating interviews to business etiquette, finding a mentor, and building transferrable skills. š Iāve been blessed in my career to have some amazing individuals to learn fromāas well as workshops and professional development programsāand so I love sharing as much of that as I can with the teens, to help shape the future workforce in positive ways. š Care to chime in below with suggestions on things of which I should be sure to educate these high school juniors?
