Here's a few photos of my finished gold leaf design & storyboard for Miss Muskoka. Hard to believe... but, this is the 32nd storyboard project that I've completed over the last 12+ years. As you can imagine, they're very close to my heart. Working with gold to create unique & original designs of the 20's & 30's for each of these historically significant watercraft, is a labor of love for me.
Along with the design aspects, I also complete a thorough research of the history of each one of these special boats. Over these years I've met some very interesting people from all over the country; people that have first hand knowledge and expertise in regards to each one of the boats I've researched. I document what I've compiled & write up the full story, along with a condensed version on the storyboard. Through historical research & design, I've been able help uncover their personality & the unique adventures each boat has navigated. They, just like us, have some interesting stories to tell.
