EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Looking to hire 2 part time Personal Support Assistants for an individual with a TBI (traumatic brain injury). This individual has a great personality and is enjoyable to work with. This individual has 24/7/365 staff, and the team works great together. Full time options available if interested and offers very competitive wages.
Shifts needed are 1 staff to work 2-3 overnight shifts a week (9pm-9am) and 1 staff to work 3-4 afternoon/evening shifts a week (3pm-9pm including Friday and Saturday). Full time option would be a combination of both shifts.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Team player
Pass a background check
Reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
Job description:
Assistance in choosing appropriate clothing. Prompts for personal hygiene care. Assistance with making appropriate healthy choices for snacks and meals. Assist with learning how to follow multiple step recipes. Assist with learning basic laundering skills such as sorting, washing and folding. Assist with shopping for personal items and/or groceries ensuring correct change is received. Support with community integration. These activities could include volunteering, movies, shopping, bowling, zoo, nature center, parks, library, etc. Overnight shift Includes protective oversight and basic housekeeping.
