We are also pleased to welcome Joel Soto as the last addition of our three new probationary firefighters at the Noble Fire Department. Joel will begin his shift assignment August 28th with Green Crew.

Recruit Soto comes from OKC and is excited to grow into his career at the Noble FD. Joel earned his fire certifications at OSU-OKC and his EMT-B at OCCC. Joel is greatful to both schools for preparing him for this amazing career.

We are also pleased to welcome Sasha Driever as another of our three new probationary firefighters at the Noble Fire Department. Sasha is the first female firefighter to successfully pass our testing process and will begin her shift assignment September 1st with Blue Crew.

Recruit Driever stated she felt like God has called her to serve her community by becoming a firefighter and has received love and encouragement from her husband and children. Sasha earned her EMT-B and Firefighter 1 certifications from Mid-America Technology Center. She says she is excited to join a great group of firefighters here at Noble.

🔥BURN BAN EXTENDED: The Cleveland County Board of County Commissioners voted on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026 to EXTEND the county-wide burn ban in response to high fire danger. Rather than expiring this Thursday, the burn ban is now in effect for 14 days.

Effective immediately, the 14-day burn ban prohibits all fires, campfires, bonfires, and the burning of trash or other materials.

Pursuant to the authority granted to the Board by Section 16-26.B of Title 2 of the Oklahoma Statutes, the Board declared that extreme fire danger exists in Cleveland County.

Enforcement of this county burn ban may be carried out by any law enforcement officer in the state. Any person convicted of violating this resolution shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), by imprisonment for not more than one (1) year, or both.

Outdoor cooking in approved cooking appliances is permissible with due caution.

We are pleased to welcome Casey Harris as one of our three new probationary firefighters at the Noble Fire Department. These new recruits started August 17th and Casey begins his shift assignment August 30th with Red Crew.

Recruit Harris stated he was raised in Noble and earned his EMT-B at OCCC and had been working EMS the past eight months. He says he is excited for the opportunity to serve in the community he was raised in.

The Goldsby Fire Department is in our thoughts today as we mourn the tragic loss of Firefighters Todd Pendleton and Bryan Jenkins. Their passing represents a profound loss to the Oklahoma fire service and to the community they faithfully and selflessly served.

The Noble Fire Department stands in solemn solidarity with the members of the Goldsby Fire Department, as well as the Pendleton and Jenkins families, during this time of deep grief.

Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice will not be forgotten.

Rest in peace, brothers.

🔥 Burn Ban Now in Effect for Cleveland County 🔥

Cleveland County is now under a burn ban, effective immediately.

All outdoor burning is prohibited during this time due to increased fire danger and dry conditions. This includes burning trash, brush, and other debris.

We ask residents to use extra caution, avoid activities that could spark a fire, and report any signs of fire immediately.

If you see a fire or believe one has started, call 911.

The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office will continue to monitor conditions and share updates as they become available.
