The Goldsby Fire Department is in our thoughts today as we mourn the tragic loss of Firefighters Todd Pendleton and Bryan Jenkins. Their passing represents a profound loss to the Oklahoma fire service and to the community they faithfully and selflessly served.

The Noble Fire Department stands in solemn solidarity with the members of the Goldsby Fire Department, as well as the Pendleton and Jenkins families, during this time of deep grief.

Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice will not be forgotten.

Rest in peace, brothers.

🔥 Burn Ban Now in Effect for Cleveland County 🔥

Cleveland County is now under a burn ban, effective immediately.

All outdoor burning is prohibited during this time due to increased fire danger and dry conditions. This includes burning trash, brush, and other debris.

We ask residents to use extra caution, avoid activities that could spark a fire, and report any signs of fire immediately.

If you see a fire or believe one has started, call 911.

The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office will continue to monitor conditions and share updates as they become available.

Thank you for helping protect our community, first responders, and property.

Over the last few weeks, members of the Noble Fire Department have been participating on training for the newly acquired ladder truck.

This training has included two days of in classroom training, and two days of hands on training. Each shift will continue to do on shift training to maintain these newly acquired skills and knowledge.

We’d like to give a special shoutout to not only our instructor, but hard working member of our department, Driver Terrell Thompson for organizing this training to better our department.

Today, Green Shift trained drafting operations with Engine 1 and Tanker 4. Drafting operations allow firefighters to pull water from a draft tank, when water sources are limited. The process of drafting takes crucial coordination between the Engine and Tanker operators to ensure the tank remains full so the Engine constantly has a water source.

Yesterday, Firefighter Holmes continued his training, going over foam operations with Green Crew. Training is an important aspect within the fire service to maintain and expand our knowledge and skill sets. Foam operations allow firefighters to more effectively handle different kinds of fires, including fires on liquids (gasoline, diesel, or oil) where water wouldnt be as affective.

While training, we had the opportunity to demo new HEN nozzles and hose packages with redline fire!

At 23:55 on 7/7/25, Noble Engine 4 responded to a call for a smoke investigation. Upon arrival there was heavy smoke coming from a single family dwelling. Engine 4 made a quick fire attack, locating the fire behind the stove within the kitchen. Engine 1 and Brush 3 responded to assist with the fire attack. Thankfully, prior to our arrival all occupants were out of the home.

This incident was mitigated thanks to the quick action of those who called in to report the unusual smoke. We encourage those who see or smell something unusual to call!
