ABOUT ME,,My name is Connie Bourgoyne. My tumbling career started in Corydon, Indiana at age 7 as a student. I started out as a gymnastics instructor in after school programs and School Gymnastics(Tumblebus) in 1988. I moved to Louisiana in 1993 and became a director for preschool gymnastics at a local gym. In 1995 I was part of an ad hoc committee to develop the Kinder Accreditation for teachers
through USA Gymnastics. I became the first KAT accredited gymnastics instructor in the state. Since then I launched my own Tumblebus in 1997 teaching in schools and for the St Charles Parish Community Education program. I am an instructor member of USA Gymnastics and certified in safety/risk management and have completed the MELPD and preschool fundamentals theory. I am currently working on completing courses with USA gymnastics in the HOTPS and HOTSA also teaching tumbling classes at Dancetera in Norco. The sport of Gymnastics is ever changing and I am always learning. I believe all children can benefit from a gymnastics program. HaPpY TuMbLiNg:)
