Shoutout to these techs from the Louisville, Norcross, and Thomasville branches who truly understand what it takes to get the job done.

This job required round-the clock work over a holiday weekend to replace a double girder trolley hoist so the customer could experience as little downtime as possible before being up and running on Monday morning. To make it work our guys came together to work in shifts so the work could continue 24 hours a day to stay on schedule (Kip, Dee, Mike, and Forrest travelled from out of state).

The time crunch wasn't even the biggest hurdle—when they arrived they were unexpectedly unable to move the equipment through the planned entrance due to an unrelated construction project. But our guys don't give up that easily: they quickly came up with a new plan to move the equipment through an adjacent building, then through the wall and into the area they were working in, getting the job done less than 10 hours before the customer needed to be back up and running.

We're so proud of these amazing techs from the Louisville, Norcross, and Thomasville branches, and love that Todd from the Louisville branch took the time to shout out this team for going the extra mile.

A big thank you to Manufacturing Project Manager Will and his team!

Last month while new West Coast Sales Director David Hart and CRO John Dowd worked out of Norcross HQ, the marketing team joined them to visit the Braselton manufacturing facility. Several new team members got to meet the mechanical and electrical engineers who design our products, and we got to see the manufacturing team building a lifting system for a client from the ground up, which was pretty impressive for those of us who spend most of our time in the office.

We loved getting see the work that happens in this facility an meeting more of the incredible team that designs and builds these systems. Thank you to Will for showing us around, and to the manufacturing team for welcoming us into your space for the morning. You guys are doing awesome work!

We've grown quite a bit since our founder Harold Arwood started Ace as an electric motor shop in Atlanta, Georgia over 90 years ago, adapting with the times to become a leader in the crane and hoist industry. Our Norcross branch got together last week to celebrate summer with some great food, music, and games. We loved getting the chance to spend some time together, be our quirky selves, and get to know several new faces around the office. When our team says they take their responsibilities personally, they mean it. 💪

Our Morenci team worked around the clock for 3 days over a weekend to complete an emergency repair on a crane, replacing the entire brake hydraulic system, bridge motor, bridge gearcase, and bridge break assembly, reengineering the mounting assembly for the brake.

It was a major repair that needed to happen immediately, and we're so proud of the way our team came together to make it happen so our customer could get back to business the following week.
