Meet the Ace Industries Customer Service Team! This awesome team spends their days finding answers for anyone who needs them—Ace branches and customers alike. They wear many hats, from helping customers figure out the right hoist for their job, to locating a lost shipment, to finding solutions when a factory order is running behind.

On top of having stellar communication skills, being super organized, and keeping cool under pressure, they also have to know the technical specs for all the equipment we sell and service so they're ready to problem solve for anything that comes up at a moment’s notice. It's a big job with a lot of hats, and we're thankful for these people who keep our business moving!

This month we're highlighting Kevin from the Louisville branch! Kevin was the very first technician to join this branch—in fact, he came on before there was even an office or shop, having meetings with Branch Manager Todd in coffee shops while they were getting their operations up and running.

This meant a lot because Kevin is "a 20-year veteran crane technician, who could have remained at his former position as long as he wanted, but he was willing to take a chance on me and an upstart branch. He is very skilled, but what makes him stand out is that he does every job and follows every rule without complaint. He regularly travels to help other branches out. Kevin in a word is selfless.”

Shoutout to these techs from the Louisville, Norcross, and Thomasville branches who truly understand what it takes to get the job done.

This job required round-the clock work over a holiday weekend to replace a double girder trolley hoist so the customer could experience as little downtime as possible before being up and running on Monday morning. To make it work our guys came together to work in shifts so the work could continue 24 hours a day to stay on schedule (Kip, Dee, Mike, and Forrest travelled from out of state).

The time crunch wasn't even the biggest hurdle—when they arrived they were unexpectedly unable to move the equipment through the planned entrance due to an unrelated construction project. But our guys don't give up that easily: they quickly came up with a new plan to move the equipment through an adjacent building, then through the wall and into the area they were working in, getting the job done less than 10 hours before the customer needed to be back up and running.

We're so proud of these amazing techs from the Louisville, Norcross, and Thomasville branches, and love that Todd from the Louisville branch took the time to shout out this team for going the extra mile.
