What started as a commitment to give back has grown into a decade of supporting communities, lending a hand where it’s needed, and showing up for causes bigger than ourselves.

To celebrate the milestone, we rolled out new Daycos4Good anniversary shirts featuring an updated logo that represents the impact our team has made together over the last 10 years.

And honestly… they look pretty good too.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

We are grateful for those who gave their lives defending the freedoms we enjoy today, and we remember the families and loved ones who carry that sacrifice forward every day.

In observance of Memorial Day, the Daycos office will be closed today. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday.

This month, we’re proud to recognize Carroll as our May Employee Spotlight for the theme: Mentors and Motivators.

Last week, our employee-led committee at Daycos turned giving back into a full-company challenge.

Teams competed in trivia, where every correct answer earned the chance to pack another item into donation bags supporting local students facing food insecurity over summer break. From popcorn to soup cups and other everyday essentials, every answer helped make a difference.

Together, our team packed:
• 100 food bags
• 17 different items in every bag

Additionally, 150 feminine care packs were donated through Access Period .

These donations will support students at Norfolk Middle School and Norfolk Junior High as the school year comes to a close and summer begins.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, competed, and packed. It’s a good reminder that a little friendly competition can create a real impact in our communities.

The Big Give kicks off tomorrow, May 14, and runs through May 20, supporting local nonprofit organizations that make a real difference across our area.

Be part of the kickoff celebration tomorrow from 4:30–6:30 PM at The Cove featuring free food and live music. Then, throughout the week, explore local nonprofit events and find ways to support organizations doing meaningful work in our community.

The Daycos Project Impact committee recently held a batting competition with a fundraising twist, all in support of Norfolk Buddy Baseball!

Participants signed up for a chance to step up to the plate, and each donation came with 10 swings and 10 chances at glory. Some delivered absolute bombs. Some delivered comic relief. One wiffleball may still be living in a cedar tree somewhere.

May is Mental Health Month, and at Daycos we’re launching a month-long mental health challenge. Our aim is to offer easy ways to reset, recharge, and build healthier daily routines.

We’ve asked employees to try two simple habits this May: take a daily wellness break, and spend five minutes on an intentional reset, whether that be reading, journaling, meditating, or simply resting.

Protecting our mental well-being helps prevent burnout and reinforces our commitment to making Daycos a great place to work.

Trivia, pizza, and a good cause…hard to beat that combination.

Last week, Daycos hosted a Trivia Night fundraiser in support of Norfolk Buddy Baseball, bringing together employees, friends, and family for an evening that was equal parts competitive and community-driven. Thanks to our Daycos Connect committee, the room was well-stocked with pizza, drinks, and plenty of energy.

Beyond the trivia questions (and a few debated answers), the night was about showing up for an organization that creates meaningful opportunities right here in our community.

A lot of fun, a little friendly rivalry, and a shared purpose behind it all. That’s a win in our book.

Ten years of Daycos4Good gives you something worth pausing for.

Recently, our team came together for an all-company session centered around a “Wall of Wonder” — a space to reflect on how far we’ve come and the impact we’ve made along the way. From supporting our communities to strengthening our team and delivering for our customers, the conversation was grounded in the real outcomes of a decade of purpose-driven work.

Guided by facilitator Greta Leach from Mission Matters, the session challenged us to not only recognize what’s been accomplished, but to think intentionally about what comes next. Because the work isn’t finished. If anything, this milestone sharpened our focus. We’re proud of the impact we’ve made and we're just getting started.
