Pre-COVID Tow N Go.

Back when the orange truck was putting in work and motorcycle towing around Hampton Roads was a much different game.

A lot has changed since this picture at Oceana Cycles Performance — the trucks, the equipment, the industry and the scale of the operation.

Now Hiring – Weekend Operations Specialist

Tow N Go Motorcycle Transportation is looking for one dependable person to join our team and help cover weekend operations throughout Hampton Roads.

This isn’t your typical driving job. Every weekend is different. One call might be helping a stranded rider, while the next could be delivering a brand-new motorcycle or transporting a prized collector bike across Hampton Roads.

But the job doesn’t stop there.

As part of the Tow N Go team, you’ll also represent our company at local bike nights, dealership events, charity rides, races, and community events. You’ll build relationships with riders, interact with the public, and serve as an ambassador for one of the region’s premier motorcycle transportation companies.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Takes pride in their work
• Is dependable and punctual
• Works well independently
• Has a clean driving record
• Enjoys meeting people and providing great customer service
• Represents themselves professionally

Motorcycle or towing experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.

Yesterday we responded to a disabled motorcycle on I-264 in Virginia Beach.

A big thank you to VDOT for quickly closing the lane behind us to provide a safe work zone while we loaded the bike. That extra layer of protection makes a huge difference for everyone involved.

Safety Reminder: If you’re stranded in an unsafe location on the interstate, don’t stay in harm’s way if you can avoid it. Call #77 to reach the Virginia Safety Service Patrol. They can help provide traffic control, assist with minor roadside issues, or help get the right resources headed your way.

What a night!

Even with a major storm rolling through right before the event, over 50 motorcycles and a great crowd of diehard motorcycle riders, friends, families, and kids came out to Chicho's Bike Night.

A huge thank you to everyone who stuck it out and helped make the night a success. The energy was awesome, and it was great seeing all of the truly dedicated riders come out no matter what!

May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month.

Picked this bike up on Route 58 in Suffolk in the construction zone after the rider got a flat tire while riding. Thankfully he stayed upright and didn’t wreck.

That stretch of 58 has gotten pretty rough lately with all the construction, traffic, and constant backups. A flat tire at highway speeds on a motorcycle can become a dangerous situation fast, especially with traffic moving all around you.

Glad the rider got off the road safely and made the call to transport it instead of trying to keep riding on it.

Please watch for motorcycles, slow down in construction zones, and move over for disabled vehicles and service trucks on the shoulder. Stay safe out there.
