2020 Project Updates Update.
For those customers awaiting deer from the 2020 deer season, this is the best update I can offer. Much like the rest of our country, the tannery I sent my hides to has suffered from staffing issues leading to delays in completion. When I last spoke to them I was given an unknown completion date. Hopefully the matter will resolve soon.
Simultaneously staff shortages at my other job has led to me working extra and longer shifts. This has lead to significantly less time in the shop for me. I’m working as much as I can to complete current projects and ask for continued patience.
In the meantime, we have switched to an alternate tannery who has been very good to us. This means we are accepting white-tailed deer this season. $500 for a basic shoulder mount with at least $250 down before work begins. Wait time would be 6 months to a year for whitetail.
European Mounts are $75, $100 if I have to skin the head, $125 for a hydro dip, $150 for a hydro dip if I have to skin the head.
