Misconception: “Church security is just about stopping bad guys.”

That mindset is too small. 🚫

A biblical Safety Ministry protects the whole flock. That includes the child in the hallway, the widow walking to her car, the volunteer facing a disruptive guest, the domestic abuse victim looking for safety, and the person having a medical emergency during worship.

If your team only trains for violent threats, you are not fully prepared. Real church safety includes threat awareness, de-escalation, abuse response, medical readiness, evacuation planning, and spiritual discernment.

A sheepdog must be more than brave. He must be trained, humble, alert, and willing to serve where the need actually is.

FACT: A Sheepdog protects life in all its forms.

Fi****ms wounds are rare. Medical emergencies are common.
Both demand readiness.

Trauma response, CPR, AED use, bleeding control, and airway management are not optional extras. They are core competencies.

Training multiplies effectiveness. Equipment multiplies capability. Faith multiplies courage.

You cannot claim to protect the flock while ignoring the most frequent threats to it.
