Exciting news from Agriflyte.

After working with customers across Oklahoma and listening closely to where the real demand lies, we are officially expanding our focus into construction and commercial drone services.

What started as an agriculture-first drone company is growing into something bigger. We are now offering construction site documentation, photogrammetry and orthomosaic mapping, stockpile volume measurement, pre-construction site surveys, and aerial photography for contractors and developers across the OKC metro area.

As a student-owned company built out of the University of Oklahoma, this pivot reflects everything we are learning in real time about business, markets, and putting your money where your conviction is. We are not just studying entrepreneurship in a classroom. We are living it.

We recently helped a landowner showcase their tracts with clear boundary overlays, increasing visibility and engagement (see image 1).

We also delivered a high-resolution 2D orthomosaic map (image 2). Standard satellite imagery often lacks the clarity and recency needed for accurate decision-making. Our drone mapping provides up-to-date, high-definition results you can rely on.

🌾 You don’t always need to focus on crop health; sometimes you just want a clear, up-to-date view of your land.
A recent client wanted to see the current conditions of their field and get an overview in a simple, easy-to-use 2D map. With our drone scan, we captured their land at 3 cm per pixel, over 10× sharper than traditional satellite images. That means no more guessing based on outdated, low-resolution pictures.

The first image is a 3D oblique map of a field. This kind of mapping gives you a detailed, bird’s-eye view of your land, so you can see things like drainage patterns, uneven terrain, or areas that might need extra attention. It’s like walking your fields without leaving your office!

🌱 2️⃣ Multispectral Analysis (NDVI)
The second image is a multispectral NDVI map. This is where the magic happens for crop health monitoring. NDVI highlights plant vigor and stress, helping you spot areas that might need water, fertilizer, or pest management before it becomes a bigger issue. Essentially, it’s a way to make informed decisions faster, saving time, resources, and potentially increasing yield.

They’d tell us when they’re thirsty, hungry, or stressed. While they don’t use words, they do send out signals, and with the DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral, we can read them.

In this field, the red areas (NDVI 0.18–0.78) show stressed plants. Ignoring those signals comes at a cost: research shows untreated stress can cut yields by 20–40%, adding up to $50–$200 lost per acre each year (USDA, 2023).

That’s real money slipping through the cracks.
