BFAIR Bottle & Can Redemption Center

BFAIR Bottle & Can Redemption Center There are three ways to redeem.
1. Self-Service: Place containers upright in the provided trays. Collect your money (5 cents/container). Book a bottle drive!

At BFAIR's Bottle & Can Redemption Center, we provide a valued service to the community and the environment while providing employees with disabilities with meaningful work experience. Bring your tray to the attendant (they will keep track of your amount). Please note that for self-service we are limiting customers to 300 containers per visit at this time.

2. Quick Drop Service: No time to wait?

Drop off your bottles/cans and we will process them for you for a small fee of one cent per can. Please see attendant for this service. You will receive a call when sorting is complete and your money is ready for pick up.

3. Bottle Drives: Looking for a great fundraiser idea? Please call for more information and to schedule.

💚 Every Penny Counts! 💚

We’re incredibly excited and honored to share that BFAIR has been selected as the September recipient of Wild Oats Market's Every Penny Counts Program! 🎉

Throughout the month of September, customers at Wild Oats Market will have the opportunity to round up their purchases at checkout, with those extra pennies adding up to make a BIG difference for the people we serve.

These donations help BFAIR promote independence, increase accessibility, and enhance the programs and resources we provide to people of all abilities throughout our community.

We are so grateful to Wild Oats for choosing BFAIR and for their continued commitment to supporting local organizations. ❤️

So, if you’re shopping at Wild Oats this September, consider rounding up your purchase and helping us make every penny count! 🪙✨

Thank you, Wild Oats, for helping us create more possibilities for the people we serve!

Betsy, one of our wonderful residents, and her sister Sally — whose generosity funds BFAIR’s Hart Family Fund for staff education and appreciation supporting the growth and advancement of our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) — recently enjoyed a neighborhood lemonade stand together.

Their visit was a perfect reminder that simple, summertime moments are made possible by dedicated DSPs and families who believe in our mission of providing quality, individualized care to people of all abilities.

🤝 Building Connections. Strengthening Our Community.

BFAIR was pleased to attend the Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires networking event at the Norman Rockwell Museum, where we welcomed the Massachusetts Council of Nonprofits to the Berkshires for their regional meeting.

The event provided valuable insights into the current state of the nonprofit sector, highlighted emerging opportunities and challenges facing our industry, and introduced local organizations to new resources, connections, and member benefits available right here in the Berkshires.

We are grateful for opportunities like these that bring nonprofit leaders together to learn, collaborate, and strengthen the work we do for our communities. Thank you to the NPC of the Berkshires, the Massachusetts Council of Nonprofits, and the Norman Rockwell Museum for hosting such an informative and engaging event.

Together, we're building stronger partnerships to better serve our region.

🌿 Making a difference, one mile at a time! 💙

Last week, participants in BFAIR's Pathways to Possibilities Community-Based Day Program rolled up their sleeves and took part in our Adopt-A-Highway cleanup along Route 7.

This is more than just picking up litter—it's about giving back to our community, building pride in the places we live, and demonstrating the positive impact people of all abilities make every day. We are so proud of everyone's hard work and commitment to keeping our community beautiful!

Thank you to our incredible participants and staff for representing BFAIR with dedication, teamwork, and community spirit. Together, we're making a difference! 🌎♻️
