STOP ✋! made me look amazing for my photoshoot with

I tell my clients all the time… putting yourself out there for your business isn’t easy at first. It gets better the more you do it.

…meanwhile I’m over here living that “cobbler has no shoes” life 🤦🏻‍♀️

I showed up a little frazzled. Hair in a bun. Yoga pants. Sweatshirt. Not exactly “photoshoot ready.”

Kristin worked her magic. She brought out my best features and made my hair look incredible (yes, that’s part of the experience).

Then Deb guided me through poses in a way that didn’t feel awkward or forced. Just natural, confident, and honestly… kind of fun?

Having your own brand and business will push you out of your comfort zone. But having the right people in your corner makes all the difference.

And the fact that I’m actually excited to share these photos with you… says everything.

Still figuring out what to do for your next office lunch? Burtons just dropped a new catering menu and invited some Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce members to get a first look. The spread did not disappoint 🤤 Thank you Burtons for a delicious lunch! If you are looking for catering for your next team event, this is it! Yum!

It was an honor to attend the Tea to celebrate International Women’s Day last week with the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce

Listening to the incredible women on the panel, a few ideas really stayed with me. The importance of legacy and the ripple effect created by mentors and family. The reminder that small acts of generosity can open unexpected doors. The need to protect your fuel through setting boundaries and allowing time to reset (and sometimes therapy 😅). Finally, the power of simply showing up consistently for one another.

Grateful to have been in a room full of women who believe that when we support each other, we all move forward.

Thank you to Bobbie Carlton, Sen. Liz Miranda, Latoyia Edwards, and to everyone who showed up, shared, and connected.

Beautiful day for the Bluestone Bank Golf Classic with the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce ⛳️! Nancy Lamothe (Realtor for Jack Conway) and I ran the 17th hole where a first-shot on the green meant extra poker cards. Not a bad way to spend a Monday! ☀️

“Hey look, a squirrel!” syndrome in marketing is real... especially when you want results fast! But jumping from idea to idea before anything has time to gain traction? That’s a momentum killer.

When it comes to your business, it’s easy to change direction quickly when you’re eager to grow or fix what feels stuck. But when strategies keep getting reset before they’ve had time to work, progress stalls.

If you want consistent results:

Stick with your plan for 60–90 days.
Give it a real shot before switching directions. Momentum takes time.

Track more than just sales.
Watch for engagement, website traffic, and email open rates - these are signs your marketing is gaining traction

Park new ideas, don’t chase them.
Jot it down and revisit later. Make sure it fits your overall strategy, supports what’s already working, and doesn't pull energy from the progress you’re making now.

You don’t need to overhaul everything.
You just need to give your strategy room to work.

Feeling called out? Let’s get your marketing in focus.

Ever have someone seem really into working with you…
and then vanish?

They didn’t ghost you.
They’re just stuck in that weird in-between called the “messy middle”, where people:
• Google around
• Compare a dozen options
• Forget what they were doing
• Revisit you at 10PM during that commercial break.
• Get distracted again (probably by a dog video)

The buyer’s journey isn’t a funnel. It’s not even a squiggle.
It’s more like a pile of open tabs in their brain and on their browser.

That’s why visibility matters.
Not just content, but presence. The kind that helps people feel like they know you and trust you before they ever reach out.

If your own marketing’s been living at the bottom of your to-do list, I get it. Same here.
I meant to post this last week… maybe two weeks ago?…What were we talking about again?

Oh…Right. Your business deserves more than crossed fingers and word of mouth.

If you’re ready to reset and make a plan that actually fits your real life, Let’s chat!

Simple, clear, doable. No guilt required.

Ever feel like you're wasting time tweaking your AI prompts to get the right results? Let's change that! Here’s how you can get the most out of AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot:

1. Start with a Clear Objective
Clearly state your goal (e.g., brainstorming topics, drafting content, or gaining a new perspective).

2. Add Some Context
Provide background info about your target audience, your brand’s tone, and position.

3. Sprinkle Some Inspiration
Share examples of what you’re looking for. Include links or upload documents, like a well-structured white paper or a blog post you want to repurpose into social media snippets.

4. Set It for Results
Specify what you need back – an outline, a short post, a table, a full blog draft. Be clear about the format and purpose. Remember, AI isn't perfect with word counts, so double-check for specific needs like X posts or Google ads.

These tips are the basics of a good AI prompt. Just like a cake recipe, the basics are just that... basic. If you want to make your content worth something more meaningful to your audience... you have to "add a little spice."

I will be sharing more tips and takeaways from my last session on leveraging AI for small biz marketing content.
