There are moments in life that change everything.

For me, the valleys I've walked through—the loss, uncertainty, unexpected transitions, and seasons where I wasn't sure what came next—became the very places where God began revealing a greater purpose.

I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to share my testimony at the Second Baptist Church of Beech Island Ladies' Group on June 20th. My prayer is that through sharing my story, others will be encouraged to keep moving forward, trust God's plan, and recognize that even in life's hardest moments, He is still at work.

Leadership reminder:
You cannot pour into your team, your students, your staff, your business, or your family from an empty cup.

The strongest leaders are not the ones who constantly run themselves into exhaustion. They are the ones who understand that self-care is not selfish — it’s stewardship.

Sometimes being a “selfish” leader means:
• Creating moments of peace
• Setting boundaries
• Taking care of your mental and physical health
• Giving yourself time to reset
• Making space to breathe, reflect, and grow

Because when you take care of yourself well, you lead others better.

Burnout helps no one. Healthy leaders build healthy environments. 🤍

This resonates deeply with so many of the conversations I have with leaders.

So many high-performing professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs stay stuck—not because they lack ability—but because they’re waiting for:
• more certainty
• more confidence
• the perfect plan
• the perfect timing
Meanwhile, momentum is created through action, not perfection.

One of the biggest shifts I’ve seen in individuals I work with is what happens when they stop overthinking every step and simply start moving forward intentionally.

Progress builds confidence far more than perfection ever will.

New leaders—this is for you.

Have you recently stepped into a supervisor or leadership role and found yourself feeling overwhelmed?

You’re not alone.

Leading people requires an entirely different skill set than simply being good at your job. Communication, decision-making, difficult conversations, confidence, delegation, navigating team dynamics… it’s a lot.

One of the biggest mistakes new leaders make is thinking they have to figure it all out alone.

That’s exactly why I created the Tiny Challenge.

A focused, application-based 1:1 experience designed to help you:
• Gain clarity
• Work through real leadership challenges
• Develop strategic next steps
• Build confidence in your role

Sometimes all it takes is focused support and intentional space to move forward.

If this resonates with where you are right now, feel free to reach out.

As this week comes to a close, remember this:

You do not have to have everything figured out to keep moving forward.

Growth often happens quietly—
through consistency,
through difficult conversations,
through showing up when no one sees the effort.

Don’t underestimate the power of small, intentional steps.

A year from now, the version of you that kept going will be grateful you didn’t quit.

Finish the week strong.
Walk into the next one with purpose.
