I started this business with the goal to improve families’ well-being through great sleep. Even if I helped one family it would have been worth it. Goal achieved ✔️

To all the families I have gotten to meet and help, thank you for being apart of this journey!

What Is Your Season? ☀️🌻🍉

If you’re in a season with a toddler—or several little ones—and an infant, this may be the summer to stay close to home.
That can feel hard when it seems like everyone else is off on adventure-filled vacations or spending every day at the pool. Those days may not be the best for you right now, but … they will come (I am living proof of that now). But here’s your reminder: it’s okay to embrace the season you’re in.
Give yourself permission to stay close to home. This won’t be every summer, but it may be what your family needs right now—and that’s more than okay.
A memory-filled summer doesn’t have to be packed with big trips or busy schedules. Some of the sweetest moments happen right in your own backyard. Set up a blow-up pool, fill the water table on the porch, let the kids run through the sprinklers, and bring out the popsicles, sidewalk chalk, and bubbles.
The little things often become the memories our children cherish most. This season may look different than someone else’s, but it can still be full of joy, connection, and beautiful moments together.

Embrace your season. There is good in it. And there are also good things ahead. ☀️

Fireworks and little ones rarely mix when it comes to sleep—but there are things you can do to help babies and toddlers stay asleep (or go back to sleep) during the noise. Here are some practical tips:

💤 Before Fireworks Start

1. Stick to the bedtime routine.
Consistency is comforting. Keep the wind-down routine (bath, books, snuggles) predictable and calming.

2. Use white noise or a sound machine.
A sound machine set to a low rumble (like rainfall or a fan) can help mask the sudden bursts of fireworks. You can also use multiple sound machines (one near the window and one near the crib/bed) to block out noises.

3. Black out the room.
Fireworks often come with flashes of light. Use blackout curtains or cover windows with thick blankets or cardboard to block it out.

4. Use a portable fan.
This adds another layer of sound masking and helps keep the room cool.

🎆 During Fireworks

5. Stay close by (if possible).
If fireworks are very close and loud, you might want to stay nearby in case they wake and need quick soothing.

6. Swaddle or sleep sack (age appropriate).
For babies, a snug swaddle (or sleep sack for older babies) can provide security and help minimize startle reflex.

🧸 If They Wake Up

7. Keep your response calm and boring.
Avoid turning on lights or being overly stimulating. Try shushing, rocking, or nursing to help them resettle quickly.

8. Reassure toddlers with a quiet explanation.
A gentle “It’s just fireworks, you’re safe” can go a long way.

9. One night of extra TLC won’t derail their sleep skills. Don’t stress!

Have a safe and happy 4th 🎇🇺🇸

Hi, I’m Paige! 👋
I’m the owner of Lullababy Sleep Consulting—a place where I help turn exhausted families into well-rested, thriving ones.
I’ve been married to my best friend, Trey, for 13 years, and together we’re raising our three amazing kids (ages 4, 6, and 8). I’m also a part-time registered nurse at Piedmont Hospital in Augusta, which means I get to do what I love in two different ways: caring for patients in the hospital and helping families get the sleep they desperately need at home.
My passion for sleep began when I became a mom. Having three little ones in just 3½ years left me completely exhausted, and I knew something had to change. Once I learned the science behind healthy sleep habits, everything changed for our family—and I couldn’t stop thinking about how many other parents were struggling just like I had.
That passion led me to become a certified pediatric sleep consultant and launch Lullababy Sleep Consulting in 2022.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of families—both locally and across the country—gain the confidence, rest, and routines they’ve been longing for.
If you’re running on empty, know that better sleep is possible, and I’d love to help your family get there. 💙

As your baby grows, they become more aware of their surroundings and what helps them get to sleep. In most babies, the state of drowsiness is no longer helpful after they outgrow the newborn stage. Instead they become reliant on you for sleep or it’s time they learn how to sleep. 😴💤

Spring is coming! 🌸💕

Daylights savings is not typically welcomed by parents of young children. But *don’t panic* this change is typically easier than the ‘fall back’ time change. 👏🏻

☀️ choose your method from the options above and plan ahead. But remember, this is not a deadline. Changes and improvements can still be gradually made AFTER the time change.
☀️ consider room darkening accessories. (Message me for my favorite blackout window liner).
☀️ start dimming the lights inside the home 30-60 minutes before bedtime.
☀️ for the older toddlers and children confused by the daylight at bedtime, consider saying “The clock says it’s bedtime. The sun is just taking longer to go to sleep.”

Looking forward to longer, brighter days ahead! 👏🏻🎉
