The further you get in your career, the more impressive “easy to work with” becomes.

Walking into a room where you don’t know anyone can feel intimidating. But you don’t need to be the loudest person there—or have the perfect introduction—to make an impression.

Ask a good question. Introduce yourself first. Be genuinely curious. Remember the little things. And when you meet someone worth knowing, follow up.

Some of the best business relationships start with one simple conversation.

Your career should be important.

It just shouldn't be the only interesting thing about you.

Travel somewhere. Get obsessed with a hobby. Read something completely unrelated to your job. Have dinner without turning it into networking. Spend time with people who don't care what your title is.

We think having a bigger life actually makes you better at business.

More perspective. More curiosity. More stories. And usually, a much easier person to have a conversation with.
