🛠️ FUN FACT FRIDAY: Duct Tape Was Invented Thanks to a Mom!

During WWII, Vesta Stoudt, a factory worker and mother of two sons serving in the U.S. Navy, noticed ammunition boxes were difficult for soldiers to open quickly. She proposed using a strong, waterproof cloth tape instead—and even wrote to President Franklin D. Roosevelt about her idea!

Her solution helped inspire what we know today as duct tape.

More than 80 years later, heavy-duty and specialized tapes remain toolbox essentials across the HVAC, plumbing, heating, and home service industries.
