I have read more than 30 “educational/leadership” books; but the one that has remained the most powerful is “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, by Stephen R. Covey …

Which is the reason I always refer to it … now more than ever before.

When the book was first published - in 1989 - Mr. Covey was surprised by its overwhelming success … because he thought he was simply telling people what they already knew: “the efficacy of good behavior”.

He was 57 years of age when the book was first published; and it has sold more than 40 MILLION copies worldwide … and continues to climb.

He died in 2012; and today, I discovered that it was due to complications from a bicycle accident he had a few months prior to his death … and also that as a teenager, his promising athletic career was cut short by degeneration in his legs.

When I connected these two things, it felt as if he was sitting in the room with me, telling me that I will not be finished, until I am DONE …

There is still work to do …

And I am just getting started.

Visualizing works like compound interest …

You get back, more than what you put in.

You just need to start with WRITING IT DOWN … and making it PLAIN.

It is then compounded, by the “run” with it.

Some may have misunderstood the assignment; but I am steadfast in my intentional support of local small businesses. So, while temporarily in any area - be it for a single day, or an extended stay - I especially keep my eyes open for places to dine (because we ALL have to EAT! 😉)

Well, the Universe definitely had my back when I spotted THIS place (in the Park Heights section of Baltimore); and the “name” is PERFECT … because it definitely TASTED like it had “JUMPED Out of the POT” for me!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

They had me at “HELLO”, from the moment I walked in the door; and I especially appreciated the fact that all meals are made-to-order … and gladly just went on a casual stroll around the neighborhood, for the duration of my wait time. 👍🏾💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

I feel strongly that people should be able to taste the “love” in your food … which was my EXACT experience, with every single bite … even the cake (which I already KNEW was going to be a WIN, when he stated it had been made by his MOM! 💕💕💕) Kaylahs Jumpinoutthepot
