Receiving glass on a daily basis, BSG fabricates a wide array of glass types including 2-19mm in clear, low iron, tints, laminated, mirror, coated glass, acid etch, low-e and high performance coated glass and is able to meet your project's specifications. Today, Blue Star Glass specializes in insulated glass units and monolithic fabrication and works on high profile commercial architectural projects including high-risers, hotels, residential developments, office buildings, and more. To achieve this goal, Blue Star Glass continuously invests in top-of-the-line American & European technology & machinery, in addition to the training of it's skilled & dedicated staff. Blue Star Glass boasts a state-of-the-art tempering furnace with an oversize bed. This is useful not only for tempering large pieces of glass, but also to quickly temper high volume projects. The oven is full-convection, and specifically designed to temper high performance coatings by utilizing its precise controls. In addition to BSG's certification to insulate glass, the largest us float glass producers have audited Blue Star's production process and equipment, and certified the company to handle and insulate high-performance low-e coatings. BSG's monolithic fabrication department is equipped with multiple edgers & CNC machines which produce high grade edgework and pin-point precision with non-rectangular shapes, holes, notches and cut outs to produce herculite & shower doors, railings, and more. Blue Star's quality control department inspects each piece of glass before shipment with enough time to reject and reprocess anything that does not meet standards. To service it's hundreds of clients on a daily basis, Blue Star has a full fleet of vehicles including flatbeds & boom trucks to deliver crated work to jobsites, or even loose glass on it's multiple racked trucks.
