Well..this was an interesting job...
"I think I have hornets..can you help?"
Me.."Nope..thems Honey Bees in your ceiling..as well as Squirrels and 10yrs stock of Walnuts."

When this soffit panel came down to get to the bees...so did a mother load of stored Walnuts....
This is no where near all of them..this homeowner has some repairs ahead.
The bees were co-mingled with a portion of Walnuts..bound together with comb..a sticky..dusty..clustered mess.
Hundreds of bees fell down to the ground with this load..no way around it.
A bit of smoke..comb removed.
I had hoped Queen was not in this pile..
Patience and persistence...found her in the next joist spacing over...nabbed her.
Im hitting the shower..long day.
