Modern doesn’t have to mean minimal design — it’s all about the details. ✨

For this project, we supplied the doors and trim materials, working in tandem with the Fry Reglet system to create a clean, contemporary aesthetic throughout the space.

From the custom arched door detail to the crisp trim and shadow-line transitions, every element was designed to feel intentional and seamless.

It’s the subtle details that make a modern space come together.

Look up. The details are worth It 💫

A ceiling doesn’t have to be an afterthought. We supplied T&G for each of these spaces, but the application tells a completely different story—hip ceilings, tray ceilings, and flat ceilings in a new build.

The material adds texture and warmth, while the layout and craftsmanship create the finished look. Same T&G. Completely different impact.

That’s what we love about architectural millwork—the details overhead matter just as much as the ones at eye level.

The future of the trades depends on us investing in the people who will carry them forward. 👊🏻

Today we wrapped up the summer portion of our externship with Swain, a student at the American College of the Building Arts who has spent the last few months learning alongside our shop team.

At Beers Millwork, we believe it’s incredibly important to pour into young people entering the trades. Technology and AI are changing the way we work at an incredible pace, but there are some things that still require a skilled hand, a trained eye, years of experience, and the ability to look at a piece of material and know how to make it become something beautiful.

Since May, he’s gotten a firsthand look at what it takes to turn drawings, ideas, and raw materials into something real—working with his hands, learning the tools, asking questions, solving problems, and gaining an appreciation for the craftsmanship behind custom millwork.
And the best part? He’s not going anywhere. He’ll be staying on with us, continuing to learn and getting even more hands-on experience with our team.

We’re proud to be a small part of his journey and excited to see where his talent and determination take him. Keep learning. Keep building. Keep your hands dirty.

Celebrating the man who brings skill to the shop and personality to the team, making every day a little better. 💫

Some people find a job. Others find where they’re meant to be.
Today we’re celebrating 2 years of having Murphy on our moulder team, and we’re grateful he’s part of the Beers Millwork family.

Before joining our team, he wore a lot of hats—those experiences gave him a unique perspective, but it’s behind the moulder where his talent truly shines. Beyond his craftsmanship, he’s the guy who’s always ready with a joke, a random fact you’ve never heard before, or a story that keeps everyone laughing.

Every custom profile that leaves our shop starts with precision, patience, and an eye for detail. The moldings he produces will become part of homes throughout Charleston, preserving history, creating character, and adding the finishing touches that make a house feel complete.

Thank you Murphy for your hard work, your consistency, and the pride you take in every profile you run. We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with you and can’t wait to see what the years ahead bring.

Happy 2-Year Anniversary! 👏

Custom millwork has a way of turning a room into a feeling 🤍

This room is all about the details—custom wall paneling, architectural ceiling details, arched millwork, built-ins, and a fireplace surround that brings it all together.

Every line, reveal, curve, and transition was thoughtfully crafted to create a space that feels timeless, tailored, and completely intentional.

It’s a reminder that sometimes the most beautiful rooms are created one detail at a time.

Happy Birthday to the guy whose job description seems to be... “Yes, I can help with that.” 😉

Around here, versatility isn’t just a skill—it’s a superpower, and Brendan’s got plenty of it.

No matter where he’s needed, he shows up with professionalism, humility, and a “let’s get it done” attitude that makes a difference every single day. We’re grateful to have him on the team and appreciate everything he does, often without seeking recognition. Please join us in wishing Brendan a very happy birthday and a year ahead filled with continued success and happiness! 🎉

Not every statement piece is in the living room

This custom white oak pantry door pairs clean lines with fluted glass to provide just the right amount of privacy while allowing light to flow through the space. Finished with a recessed pull, it’s a simple detail that brings warmth, function, and craftsmanship together. We believe every opening is an opportunity to create something beautiful and loved being able to help add a little bit of luxury to this space.
