R IV Architecture was established by Michael J. Remesi in September of 2007 after leaving the position as co owner & President of The RBA Group.

Michael has been practicing architecture in the Charlotte area for over 20 years.

A few updated construction images of another one of our Industrial projects that is nearing completion. A Design/ Build project with Choate construction, Blue Anchor will be a +/- 90,715 SF facility that is a combination of Build to suit for the owner with a +/-7,500 SF office upfit and mezzanine level along with half the building setup as a Speculative shell building as well. Located in Concord NC.

Today one of our projects opens it’s doors. Courtyard by Marriott Winston Salem is officially complete. Located in Downtown Winston Salem, NC on Fourth street this +/-85,385 S.F. Six Story 126 room Courtyard by Marriott features lounge area, indoor pool, with outdoor sundeck, large meeting room space, Fitness center, Bar and Bistro on the first floor along with a roof top bar and lounge open to the public featuring a separate public elevator access. The urban site also features a nice outdoor courtyard on the first floor as well. The design works itself into the existing context of Downtown Winston Salem.

R IV Architecture is still working hard for our clients, while temporarily working from home offices per state mandate, we are still fully connected as a single firm operation with little or no real impact to clients. We just submitted for commercial building permit another one of our projects; Home 2 in Raleigh NC. Upon completion this will be a 4 story wood construction 110 key Extended Stay Home 2 Suites by Hilton hotel. Project will include a kitchenettes in all rooms, outdoor pool, expanded lobby and lounge area , fire pit, and a two bay meeting facility. The project is located in Raleigh, NC and currently in Commercial building Permit review.
