Most follow-ups fail because they don't provide anything new or valuable. Too many salespeople follow up with messages like:

"Just checking in."

"Following up on my last email."

"Wanted to see where things stand."

These messages don't give the prospect a reason to respond. Every follow-up should add value to the conversation. Give them something useful that helps them move closer to a decision.
