Weil began manufacturing mattresses and boxsprings on Anson Street in Charleston, SC almost 100 years ago. Southern Lady moved to Meeting Street in the 1970's, and moved again in 2000 to a 65,000 square foot state-of-the-art plant in North Charleston. This fourth-generation company remains family-owned and operated, manufacturing wholesale mattresses to residential stores, hotels and resorts, colleges, cruise ships and custom designs. Ritchie and Steve Weil are always available to guide customers through the process of finding the best fit. Expanding on our expertise, we now manufacture bed coverings and pillows, window treatments, as well as other sewn products.
