Unknown Paranormal Society hits 800 followers!!
Fun fact about the number 800
The Infrared Spectrum: In physics, wavelengths of light around 800 nanometers (nm) mark the general boundary where the visible light spectrum ends and the infrared spectrum begins, just past the edge of human vision.
In paranormal research, the infrared (IR) spectrum is one of the most heavily relied-upon regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. Because human eyes can only see visible light (roughly 380 to 740 nanometers), investigators use specialized equipment to "see" into the infrared region (740 nm to 1 mm) to capture data that would otherwise be entirely invisible.
You see? It's not just about walking around in the dark in spooky places. Theres a deep rooted science to what we do.
