A PHILM CLASSIC
Here's a fun spot I directed in 80's for Kitty Litter.
The shot at the end, featuring four trained cats, patiently waiting in line to use the litter box, while another exits, took over 125 takes to pull off... We blew through a lot of 35mm film to get that shot, literally herding cats.
Another interesting tidbit... The pour shots of the kitty litter were shot at about 600 frames per second, using a PhotoSonics 35mm camera designed to shoot at that very high speed. Those scenes were lit by special high speed, high-output strobe lights fired in sync with the high-speed camera shutter, to provide enough illumination and to freeze each particle of litter during every frame.
Enjoy!
