As everyone heads back to school, congratulations to Erica Ratkowski and Beth Hayes, recipients of the Girard School District Foundation 2026 Excellence in Teaching Award!

We had the pleasure of creating these custom stained glass awards, presented during last week’s in-service.

We love projects like this. If you’ve got employees, volunteers, donors—or just somebody who deserves a little recognition—stained glass is a unique alternative to the usual plaque or trophy. And custom glass may be more accessible than you think!

Something to keep in mind the next time somebody deserves a little hardware. 😉

Day one at Shaker Woods Festival is in the books!

After a whole lot of building, hauling, hanging, tweaking, and wondering whether we could actually fill this place… Booth #100 is officially open.

And day one was a good one. 😊

We’re incredibly happy with how our little spot in the woods came together…and even happier to finally be here for our first!

If you’re coming down to Columbiana this month, come find us at Booth #100 and say hi. There’s a lot of glass to see. 😁

🌳 Two weeks to go! We spent the weekend putting the finishing touches on our booth, and we can’t wait to make our debut at the Shaker Woods Festival!

If you’ve never been, Shaker Woods is a beautiful juried craft festival tucked into the woods of Columbiana Ohio. Each August, tens of thousands of visitors explore more than 250 artisan booths, enjoy great food, watch live demonstrations, and spend a relaxing day beneath the trees.

These photos are a little sneak peek of Booth #100. We still have a few final touches before opening day, but we’re excited to share it with you.
