We said what we said…..

Just because it LOOKS like a fire extinguisher doesn’t mean we can inspect it. 🧯

If it’s NOT UL compliant, we’re not putting an inspection tag on it. Period.

We know… sometimes that old extinguisher has been hanging around longer than some of the employees. 😂 But if it doesn’t meet the proper requirements, it’s time to have a conversation.

Don’t shoot the messenger — blame the extinguisher. 🤷‍♀️🔥

🔥 MEET THE TEAM: SEAN WYATT 🔥

If it involves fire suppression, kitchens, or getting things done right the first time… Sean is probably your guy! 👨‍🚒

Sean is our Fire Suppression Specialist, bringing 10 years of experience in the fire protection industry to the NEFP team. He’s also been a volunteer firefighter since 2015 and currently serves as a Captain with his department — so protecting people isn’t just his job, it’s something he’s been passionate about for years. 🚒

Sean holds multiple manufacturer certifications in fire suppression, is NFPA 10 certified, a NAFED ICC Certified Portable Fire Extinguisher Technician, and is also working his way through our Fire Alarm Apprenticeship.

And because apparently fire suppression wasn’t enough to keep him busy… 😂 Sean is also the guy behind North East Fire Protection’s TikTok page, helping us show off the work we do, educate our followers, and occasionally make fools of ourselves for the internet. 🤣📱

When he’s not protecting kitchens, businesses, and people, Sean is busy being Dad to Harper — which might just be his most important job of all. ❤️

We’re lucky to have Sean on our team bringing experience, dedication, firefighter knowledge, and a little social media chaos to NEFP.

🔥 MEET THE TEAM: BOB NORWOOD 🔥

Our Founder. Our VP. And quite possibly the biggest fire protection nerd we know. 😂

Bob has over 12 years in the fire protection industry, holds his NICET Level III, has more factory certifications than we can keep track of, and somehow knows the answer to just about every question involving every product and service we offer.

Basically… if Bob doesn’t know it, we’re all screwed. 😂

When he’s not talking fire protection (which, let’s be honest, isn’t very often), Bob is usually with Priscilla, their 3 kids, and their 5 dogs — or in the kitchen doing what he does best: cooking an incredible meal.

But his favorite part of owning North East Fire Protection isn’t the business itself. It’s having the opportunity to give back to our community in ways he never imagined possible. ❤️

And that’s really what Bob is all about — knowing his stuff, helping people, feeding people, and somehow finding a way to turn just about any conversation into fire protection. 😂🔥

We’re pretty lucky to have him. ❤️ But don’t tell him that…

🎉 HAPPY AMERICAN BUSINESS WOMEN’S DAY! 🎉

And what better day to make a pretty BIG announcement…

🔥 North East Fire Protection is officially WBENC Certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE)! 🔥

As a small, woman-owned business, this certification means a LOT to us. We’re incredibly proud of how far this little company has come, and even more excited about where we’re headed. ❤️

And since we’re celebrating women in business today, we figured it was the perfect time to kick off our “MEET THE TEAM” series!

👋 Meet Priscilla Norwood — President & Chief Chaos Coordinator

Priscilla is the one behind the scenes keeping the wheels turning… usually from behind the wheel of her beloved Bronco. 😂

Her days are filled with paperwork, scheduling, marketing, community outreach, customer calls, problem-solving, and doing everything she possibly can to keep the guys busy on the road and make every customer feel safe and taken care of.

Basically… if something needs to happen, she’s probably already working on it. And if it isn’t happening? She’s probably asking why. 😉

With a background in business management, finance, and relationship management, Priscilla brings a little organization to the chaos — emphasis on a little. 😂

When she’s not running the business, she’s busy being a mom to 3 amazing teenagers, 5 dogs, and her feathered sidekick, Carlina the Sun Conure. 🦜🐶❤️

And fire protection has always been a little personal for Priscilla. Her grandfather proudly served 36 years as a Fire Captain for the City of Camden, NJ, which gave her a lifelong soft spot for firefighters and first responders. It’s a big part of why supporting our local heroes and our community means so much to her.

So today, on American Business Women’s Day, we’re celebrating women in business, the people who make small businesses possible, and the amazing team behind North East Fire Protection.

And yes… there’s a LOT more chaos to introduce. 😜

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to last night’s 2nd Fridays to help us honor and celebrate our amazing First Responders! 🇺🇸

We loved seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new friends, and spending the evening with an awesome community. We’re so grateful for the men and women who run toward the emergency while the rest of us are running the other way! 😂❤️
