Trinket to Triumph - Father Forgive…
Yom Kippur (which began yesterday evening to this evening , 10/4-5) is a holy time set aside in the Jewish faith for repentance, fasting and much prayer. Today, I join with the Jewish faith and do the same.
Yom Kippur is a day to confess your faults both publicly and privately and to ask for forgiveness.
Father, in Jesus’s name, I repent and ask your forgiveness for any sins I might have committed contrary to your Word or failure to follow your instructions.
To you reading this, if I offended you in any manner, I ask for your forgiveness.
Lord, purify and cleanse me from all iniquity.
Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me (Psalm 51).
Thank you Lord for a fresh anointing.
In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen!
