Jeanette was originally Hillary Fluff but was picked on by all the other chicks. I wasn’t sure she would survive the pecking to her skull. I moved her to the barn. My close friend Jeannette was very concerned about her and checked on her often. Less than 2 wks later my friend passed away and since Hillary no longer had Fluff on her head I changed her name to honor my friend. She wanted chickens and would send videos of them to me constantly. Our farm was her happy place. She would reach out and tell me she needed a farm day. Today would have been her birthday so I had to make a chicken video for her. Jeannette has become a very social chicken and comes when you call her. She enjoys hanging out in the barn bathroom in the ac 😂 🐓 #🐓
