Today’s project in Knox, we came in and tore out an old pole barn concrete slab along with all the buried debris around it. We hauled off all the concrete, leveled and graded everything out nice, then brought in a quad axle load of some really nice black dirt and spread it out evenly.

Now we’re gonna let it settle a little, come back, fine grade it again, and put grass seed down to finish it off right.

Position has been filled.

Marvs All Season Property Management is looking for a delivery driver to deliver materials to job sites and customers. Must be insurable, have a valid regular driver’s license, and be able to operate a dump trailer. You’ll be driving a pickup truck pulling a dump trailer.

Experience is required. You must be comfortable backing up trailers, as some deliveries can get into tight or difficult spots. All deliveries are local.

This is a part time position, about 3 days a week.

Had to get a little creative on this one. We had a repeat customer in Knox today that didn’t want any straight lines in the landscaping edging. We first put some edging down and just weren’t happy with how it looked, so we tore it back out and redid it with this concrete edging that gives it a much more natural look. I think it flows really well with the brick on the house.

We planted a bunch of flowers, tall grasses, and finished it off with river rock. The whole landscape bed is around 80 feet long, so it was definitely a big one. She wanted everything to have more of a curve and flow instead of sharp straight lines, so we did our best to bring her vision to life.

We think it turned out pretty good. Another happy repeat customer.

Another company who is a friend of ours was on a pond project in North Judson for a customer and called us in to help with some gravel work around the property.

The customer wanted to be proactive and help prevent the edges of the asphalt driveway from washing out over time. When water gets underneath the sides of asphalt, it can weaken it and eventually cause cracking when vehicles drive near the edges.

We came in and installed #4 river rock along both sides of the driveway and around the house to help with drainage, protect the asphalt edges, and give everything a clean finished look. Turned out really nice.

🇺🇸 We are closed today and will return Tuesday morning at 8 am. We feel it’s important for our employees to take a break and enjoy a long Memorial Day weekend with their families.

Another good-sized project completed today over at Bass Lake. Customer recently built a new pole barn and had called us quite a while ago wanting us to do the work. We’ve been covered up busy, but he said he was willing to wait because he wanted us to handle the job.

We came in and first graded everything out real nice, then installed 46 ton of fresh 53s limestone for the driveway. We also ground out 4-5 good sized stumps, leveled out dirt from the pole barn excavation, filled in low spots, cleaned up the large piles, and hand picked roots and debris out before finishing everything off smooth and clean.

Another happy customer in the books. We truly appreciate everyone staying patient while we work through the schedule.

Another driveway transformation in the books. Today we came in, tore out the sod, used existing stone the customer already had on site for a solid base, then spread 23 ton of fresh 53’s limestone and graded it out nice. We also removed a few stumps and bushes to clean the whole area up.

Big transformation wrapped up today in Toto!

This was a pretty good size job. The customer had 30 plus year old railroad ties, overgrown pines, and old gravel that had seen better days. We came in and tore everything out down to the ground surface, then rebuilt it with all new Grade A ties, 30 year underlayment, and fresh landscape gravel.

We redesigned some of the layout, added steps, put in a walkway through the front, and cleaned up all four sides of the house. The goal was simple: curb appeal with low maintenance and that’s exactly what we delivered. Now we will be back next week to dress up the outside with 73s limestone.

Great customer, really great guy, and we love working for good people. He’s going to add some wooden planters with flowers to finish dressing it up, and it’s going to look awesome.
