QDC Managing Director Steven J. King joined state and federal leaders today for a firsthand look at progress on the "Missing Move" project.

This new infrastructure will create the long-awaited direct connection from I-95 North to Route 4 South and provide direct access to and from the West Davisville section of the Business Park, easing travel on local roads.

For the more than 15,000 people who work at Quonset, this new connection will mean a smoother, more direct commute. We look forward to opening these ramps soon!

Businesses at Quonset are proving that energy efficiency is good for both the environment and the bottom line.

Through our partnership with Rhode Island Energy, companies like Seifert Systems are identifying practical ways to reduce energy use and operating costs. After completing lighting upgrades in 2025 and high-efficiency transformer improvements this year, Seifert expects to save more than 22,000 kWh of electricity and over $4,500 annually.

As companies look for ways to improve efficiency while managing operating costs, many are discovering that targeted energy upgrades can deliver measurable business benefits with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.

Quonset’s success is possible because of the dedicated efforts of the people who work here. We're proud to celebrate two employees who go above and beyond for the Quonset community.

Toni DaLomba was recently promoted to Pier Master and and recognized as Employee of the Month. Toni’s colleagues rely on her uncanny ability to independently evaluate, decide and execute, saving the Port valuable time and money. We know she’ll continue to be an asset to the Port of Davisville in her new position.

Dylan Barbosa, another recent Employee of the Month, joined QDC’s Water Division earlier this year and has become a valuable member of the team. He is instrumental in day-to-day operations and exhibits remarkable productivity and ambition, keeping up with his daily duties and helping others where needed.

Congratulations to Toni and Dylan! QDC is lucky to have them.

Since 1941, the Port of Davisville's Pier 1 has been supported by 1,500 wooden pilings. More than 80 years later, it's time to replace them.

As part of a major infrastructure overhaul at the port, we're replacing much of that wood with new steel pilings, adding decades to the pier's service life and supporting increased port activity.
