I could have hung the top track in this photo and called it a day. But then all the negative space between the tools would have gone to waste!
As long as you are intentional about how you fill your space AND leave breathing room between items, you can't really go wrong 😉

Tips for hanging up your bikes:.
1. Alternate hanging bikes by the front/rear wheel for optimal space.
2. Use a track system so you can move hooks as needed.
3. Use a bungee cord to keep the front wheel straight .
And don't forget to ask for help! Lifting a bike above your head is no joke 💪🚲

Optimizing vertical space is a key component to creating an organized home.
In this garage, I used Rubbermaid Fasttrack rails, with hooks that can slide back and forth to meet your needs.
Just a small change, but with everything now off the floor, my client can easily park the car inside when it's rainy or snowy out.

Contrary to popular belief, "spice organizers" aren't that great for spices. Stadium style risers are perfect for canned goods and other items where you have multiples of the same thing/flavor.
They are too short for spices and hide the labels, so you end up touching every jar trying to find what you need. 😡
For spices, which are all unique, I prefer turntables. You can quickly see what you have without messing up all that beautiful organization. I also like using tall risers, like the ones to display figurines or legos.
For this project, I had a clean slate...but the movers left my client's spices everwjere BUT the kitchen cabinets 🙄
